triggering Braxton Hicks?

Question

My doctor is closed for the weekend or I would be calling them, but maybe some of you lovely ladies know. If I am doing something that's triggering a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions close together, is this any cause for concern? I was mopping (scrubbing really) the kitchen floor and they started up and are still going now. I'm only 23 weeks along

My doctor said early labor signs (extreme back pain, Braxton home, cramping etc), is almost always a sign from your body you are dehydrated. He said on average our small hospital checks in 5-6 dehydrated moms a week. I'm short, (5'4, 150 lbs) and my doctor told me I needed 75 ounces of water or more a day or i would get dehydrated. So I'd evaluate how many ounces of water you're getting and go from there. Also make sire you drink something with electrolytes once in a while- they help

With my first pregnancy my OB told me that if the BH get better with rest, then to just take it easy and drink lots of water as that is a super common side effect of dehydration.
