Iv been craving sushi , but my mother in law tells me i cant have it because of the raw fish . Iv been craving it so bad sucks i cant have one 😩 any ladies know why though ?

You can always pick a cooked version? So your not eating raw meat’ but I have heard a lot of ladies eat sushi as long as it’s from a trusted retailer.

Raw fish can expose you to things like listeria or E Coli (which is also why we aren't suppose to have lunch meat). Additionally, many types of fish contain mercury which can cause developmental problems in baby if eaten too frequently.

I think there’s recipes online for pregnancy safe sushi, it’s not hard to make and I found homemade sushi better than anything

Lol I ate it. completely fine. my doctor said as long as it is from a reputable place I'm good to go. said I have more risk from vegetables now a days lol

When I go to sushi...still do every two weeks....yup I’m a sushi addict🙋🏻‍♀️ I always get the yam roll , avocado roll, veggie tempura and deep fried Cali roll all safe as everything is cooked or veggie. I miss the occasional tuna sashimi but I know once I give birth that will be the first thing I get my husband to bring me👏🏼🍣

I craved sushi with my fourth so bad. I would stop by fred Meyer every night on the way home and pick some up. Baby is four months now asnd haven't had issues at all. I mainly ate the Cali roll and cooked sushi, I love cooked sushi.
