Has anyone had the flu while pregnant?

I’ve never had the flu so I don’t know what I’m looking for. I felt 100% fine yesterday. Went to bed last night and woke up a bit later and my throat felt kinda scratchy. Through the night it got worse and worse and now I’ve got a low grade fever, and my legs and arms are feeling weak. I’ve called and left a message for the doctor on call at my OB office, but wasn’t sure if I was feeling flu symptoms or not.

That sounds like the start of it. Cough, fever, body aches, sore throat, chills and hot flashes. It’s usually sudden onset. I work in an urgent care so we have seen over 50 positive for flu so far. It’s pretty bad this year. Plenty of fluids and rest. If you don’t have the flu, the flu vaccine in pregnancy is highly recommended.

I had the flu at 34 weeks pregnant. Lasted for almost 2 weeks. Worst 2 weeks of my life 😩😩 body aches, fever, can't eat anything.. I've also lost 8lbs bc I didn't have a appetite!! Doctor proscribed me some medicine that should last 5 days. When it hit, it's gone hit you HARD. You'll made it through though. Good luck.

I'm 14 weeks pregnant and I just got over the flu there's not a lot you can do other than let it run its course. my ob said I can take cough drops and robatusim the regular kind. id make sure with your doctor before taking anything tho. try and stay hydrated. drink lots of water and Gatorade!

my friend had it she couldnt keep anything even water down she had a cough for the longest. So she went to the hospital
