Why is it taking so long to ovulate?

I know the average is 11 days but this last month it took 2 boxes of testing strips before I finally saw that i was ovulating. After trying to get pregnant for a year it’s starting to feel really defeating. Any advise on how to boost my ovulation and my chances of getting pregnant?

I ovulate on day 18 usually. Average is about day 14 but it can totally vary. Get the cheap tests from Amazon and start testing on day 10 or so. Also take your BBT and track that. I know it’s so easy to feel defeated, I feel the same way. But we have to stay positive!!! We will have our babies!!!
