My husband leaves the bathroom door open while he’s shitting. I’ll close the door just because my dog likes to follow me EVERYWHERE, even to the bathroom, but my husband comes in, talks to me, brushes his teeth or whatever. We don’t care. If he’s willing to smell it then it’s on him lol.
