We officially started trying for a baby in June 2017 after being married 7 years. We got pregnant with our first that July!! On October 16, 2017 (17 weeks) she went to be with Jesus. We grieved as one should but we were also surrounded by an amazing support system!! God truly gave us peace and reassured us that he never breaks a promise. My husband had a dream of our baby girl several years ago and so we know that God will give us a baby when he’s ready. Because of that promise we named our sweet girl Promise!

We started trying again in December. I took a test a few days ago and saw an extremely faint line. So, naturally I posted it to a Glow group to get some opinions from other eyes with the classic question, “Is this an evap line or a BFP (big fat positive)?” And as always, the Glow members were awesome! We found out today (with two home pregnancy tests) that we are indeed pregnant again!! Only 3-4 weeks but still...pregnant!! After our first loss we were told that I have an incompetent cervix therefore a cerclage will be necessary this time around. So, I have been very intentional about tracking my cycles, times of intimacy, etc. so that when we were pregnant again the doctors would know specifics and make getting the cerclage at the right time easier and more likely to work. So, needless to say, we are excited and trust God with this sweet life as well!! Looking forward to making an appointment and having it all confirmed by the doctors. We pray for each person whose experienced loss and whose been waiting for the miracle for any length of time. God answers prayer...but his will is always best!!
