My sister and mum threw me the loveliest of baby showers today! I love my friends and family and it was so great to get together with everybody and relax and celebrate.

We’ve had a really rough year/18 months as my husband sustained a severe liver injury (caused by antibiotics) and there was/is still a possibility he could need a liver transplant; I got a nasty case of pancreatitis right after he got out of the hospital (for the sixth time) and had to have my gallbladder removed. Things were just rough last year. Our family, friends, and coworkers were supportive through all the awfulness.

Our wee Miss Nora is already so loved and we’re looking forward to her adding some serious positivity to our lives.

Nesting and nursery organization starts in earnest next week! Nine and a half more weeks until babby! :)
