Donor eggs?

I went through 2 failed IVF cycles. I have diminished ovarian reserve. My Dr. does not recommend me trying IVF again as he is certain it will not work for me. He said my egg quality is poor and I should consider using donor eggs since there is a good chance it will work. I am struggling with how to handle this. Its either I don't have children of my own or use donor eggs!? I can't believe there is nothing more that could be done. I am only 35 and I am in Good health. Has anyone else been in the situation? Any positive stories?!
