My crazy birth story 😂

Labor was ... well let's just say you could hear glass shatter because my birth plan went flying out the window 😂 Firstly - I was unexpectedly induced after discovering some preeclampsia. So they started the cervidil and I was having mildish contractions through the night - not bad.

Next morning was ONLY dilated to a 2 after that whole night. So they cranked up the pitocin. Contractions started coming but were still in my opinion on the milder side and they only dilated me to about a 3-4. So they decided to break my water and that's when the fun began. Contractions came in quick after that and hard , but I was managing okay.

Then they suddenly got way way more intense - I lost ability to manage through them. I was in the shower and came out because it wasn't helping and as I was getting out to dry off a contraction was so bad I went down bare naked on my hands and knees on the floor with these pains. Then I started vomiting. Yep naked and vomiting. Then I was like okay I can't do it get me a fricken epidural.

Ahhh so much relief I was so happy I fell asleep during labor. Then I started reacting weird to the epidural and my body was uncontrollably shaking and the vomiting came back. But low and behold yay I was finally 10cm and it was time to push. At first it wasn't bad but as her head descended down the birth canal I really felt everything. So much burning and pressure. My leg was like stuck up in the air as they had me on my side and I couldn't close it because it felt like a ball was in between my crotch ( babies head) My contractions were back to back , I was just crying because I had no time to catch my breath and relax!! My body was completely drained from vomiting and the long labor induction process. Then pushed for 3hrs. Finally at 3:07am my baby girl was in the world .❤️ hooray for child birth 😂
