Belly button piercing thoughts??

I’m considering getting my belly button pierced because I feel like it will make me more confident about my stomach and cover up a couple scars. I know some people that had one and really regret it, and others that say they had one and they loved it. I know I  could always just take it out if I end up not liking it, but I don’t want to waste time or money on it if I will hate it when it’s done. Any thoughts or advice?

Had mine done so many times first 3 times did myself. Not best thing to do! Got ripped out every time I use to pick up my younger sister. Just be aware if u do get it done it doesn’t take long to close and u may need to take it out if u ever get pregs(reason y had to take it out second time).

I love mine! I got it done about two and a half years ago. Pain wasn’t bad, just a little pinch. If you get it just make sure you are cleaning it regularly especially after sitting because your stomach naturally folds and sweats and it’ll irritate it! But it’s definitely my favorite piercing.

I got mine done and I loved it, it healed within 6 months and I was able to put my ring back in after I had my baby. I had a belly button ring retainer for when I got too big to wear my actual one but even the retainer got uncomfortable so I took it out, but every time I took a bath or shower I just stuck it through the hole to keep it open
