Vitex=high LH levels??

So I started taking vitex at the beginning of last cycle and O'd a little early for me, but close to normal. This cycle I'm on day 8 (I start testing the day after my period) and almost all of them have been dark. Not positive, but darker than they used to be this early by far. Anyone have experience with this? Am I going to O really early this cycle, or does vitex make your levels higher all the time?
