What to pack for baby when coming home?

So I know what I'm packing for my hospital bag. What should I pack for the baby? It's going to be cold.

Answer

I tend to overpack so chances are I packed way more than needed. But I packed 2 premie size sleepers (my first was full term and able to fit in premie), two newborn size sleepers, his coming home outfit, a couple of burp clothes just in case, a swaddler (I can never figure out how to swaddle with just a blanket xD), a comfy blanket for when we leave, a couple hats (one smaller than the other since idk how big his head will be), two pairs of socks, one or two pairs of mittens, and some diapers in case I don’t like the ones the hospital provides. I should also mention I live in NH and it’s been extremely cold which is why I packed so many warm things for when we leave.

Answer

For the hospital bag all you need is an outfit, hat, blanket, socks and hand mittens. The hospital will supply wipes and diapers and outfit for baby while you are admitted.
