Pregnant with a heart condition?

Hello all!

I’m expecting my first baby, I’m half way through the pregnancy so it’s all getting very real!

I’m starting to get anxious because I have a heart condition.

I was born with a congenital heart defect that wasn’t actually found until I was 21 and I had open heart surgery the next year to repair a hole in my heart and a leaking valve.

I also have a pace maker.

The surgery was 3 years ago and haven’t had much problems since except small leak in valve that doctors don’t seem too concerned about.

Anyone else had or having a baby in a similar situation?
