Hey y'all! I'm new to the group, and was just diagnosed with PCOS. I'm 31 yo, and have a 9yo daughter. My periods have been irregular for the last few months, and I've struggled on and off with ovarian cysts for the last 9 years. My GYN was pretty shocked by the diagnosis, because I've had multiple ultrasounds done, and no one ever saw it. I'm about 5'6", weight is 123, my ovaries have several follicles on both of them, some moodiness, insomnia, and those crazy facial hairs. My blood levels were drawn, and everything was WNL. I'm perplexed...She put me on Metformin 500mg, twice a day. Is there anything else I can do, to help my periods regulate?!?! I don't even know if i am ovulating. I just feel so lost, and would love to TTC within the next year...Any advice is GREATLY appreciated!!
