I could use a little advise please

My husband and I have been TTC for a year now (our anniversary was the 7th of this month). This month I was supposed to start my period on the 14th and haven't so far. I'm not even spotting as of right now. There has been no cramps or anything. the only thing is the headache I usually get around this time. I don't know what may happen by the end of the day, but I just wanted to see what someone else thought. My husband is the only one that knows I'm late because we want the announcement to be a surprise. I have a Dr appointment with my OGBYN on the 24th for my annual checkup. Any thoughts would be appreciated for this newby. 🙂
