Whats your babies birth stories?

Question

My first baby is due February 28th so of you ladies dont mind sharing your babies birth stories with me so im not going in completely blind i would really appreciate it. Like did you have a vaginal delivery or cesarean delivery, why did you and how was your experience. Thank you to anyone who shares.

I was 36.2 and had to be induced due to high blood pressure. I had an unmedicated delivery due to bot being able to have pain medication. Contractions werent horrible till  my water was broke. I went from a 7 dilation to a 10 in 2 minutes. I then was rushed to an OR suite to deliver due to fear of bleeding out. My labor was hard and fast and baby came after only 17 minutes of pushing. Due to it being hard and fast, I had a grade 3 tear which I am still healing from.

I went into labor at exactly 41 weeks. Woke up around 7:30am realizing that I was having real contractions, got up cleaned the house and made some chicken soup for the crockpot, went on a 3 mike walk with Hubby. When we got back contractions were getting to the point that I needed to stop to focus through them. I took a warm shower around noon and they really picked up. I spent the rest of the day on my hands and knees on the couch. I had back labor which was the worst part but overall I just concentrated on relaxing and breathing through contractions. Midwife got to our house around 4:30 and I started pushing at 5:30. Baby was born at 7:30pm weighing in at 9 lbs 8oz. Natural vaginal delivery at home 😊
Go to YouTube and watch birth videos. Read books on how labor progress and practice ways to relax through contractions. I’m not going to say it was a walk in the park, but I would say that labor is HARD work more than it is painful. Relaxation is key!
