I need to decide what prenatal tests I'd like to opt into by my next appointment. What screenings/diagnostic tests did you choose and why? Are there any you'd specifically suggest avoiding? Right now, I'm thinking I'd like to stick to NT and blood tests (NIPT if my insurance will cover it!) And if the less risky screenings produce abnormal results, is it better to follow up with CVS or amnio? This is my first pregnancy, so I'm learning about all these tests for the first time, and it's a little overwhelming!
