TMI!! Two days ago my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex. We have been together for 4 years and I am not concerned about stds. He had a small scab on his penis from where he accidentally cut himself when shaving. After sex the scab was gone. I don’t even know if this it logical, but I am concerned that the scab got in me and has caused some sort of infection.

I have never had a yeast infection before so I’m not really sure what it looks/feels like. The past 2 days I have had lots of super watery discharge. Like it literally looks like I poured water onto my underwear. I had a small amount of thicker discharge, but I don’t think it was “cottage cheese-like” as I have read that’s what happens with a yeast infection. It burns when I pee and my vagina kind of itches and hurts. It is very uncomfortable and I’m not sure what is going on. I am currently out of town and can’t get to my normal gyno and I don’t want to go to a walk in clinic for this, so I would prefer to not go to the doctor.

Could this be a yeast infection? Should I buy Monistat and see if it works?
