You only ovulate once a month so depending on how long your cycles are there is a low chance of getting pregnant on your period. If you really want to get pregnant I suggest tracking your ovulation. I saw on your page you are 17. Before doing anything make sure your partner is 100 percent ready. You are going to need a support system, finances, stable housing etc.

1st Of all you just started so give it a few months before you start getting discouraged.  It doesn't usually happen right away. Sometimes it takes awhile.
