HG or inner ear?

Not really sure where to start with this but will give it a go. I took ill on December 16 initially just thinking I must have eaten something that didn’t agree with me, but next day I got sent home from work because I still couldn’t stop being sick, I went to NHS24 who said I had norovirus and it would clear up within a few days. Well a few days came and gone and I will still being so called my own doc who said it was not sounding like norovirus then but I couldn’t get an appointment to get in and see them. I was trying anti-sickness tablets but even they weren’t helping.

My S/O starting joking he thinks I’m pregnant and asking me to do a test to which I refused...I have lost two babies already in 2011 and 2015, and we think I lost ours in November so I’m terrified of doing a test and having that fear of losing another one.

As the weeks have dragged on the sickness has been accompanied with serious dizziness to the point I have lost my balance and bust my hand open, serious lack of energy to the point I’m napping the day, continual feeling of nausea from I wake up till I go to sleep...the only thing that helps slightly with this ginger beer and I hate the stuff! If I don’t eat then most of the time I’m not sick, but there has been occasions when S/O has made food for himself the smell of it has made me sick. Other times where I literally can’t hold fluid down without eating, the smell of hand wash and dog food is now turning my stomach and I’m struggling to pick up their poop without gagging.

S/O is convinced I’m pregnant and have HG (hyperemesis gravidarum) he looked it up and said 3/4 is exactly how I am, but I haven’t had any other symptoms of being pregnant and took AF last month for all 2.5 days. He is also the one who was convinced last year we were pregnant and to be fair I had a lot more symptoms than I do now.

I seen my own doctor on Monday and he thinks I either have gastroenteritis or a viral inner infection. The way things are now going between me and him, me being pregnant is the last thing we need. Have any of you ever had HG and would be able to advise me or tell me if anything worked for you
