Help! I’m taking progesterone and clomid

Hi everyone so about 6 months ago I got off my birth control, I’ve always had irregular periods too well the first 3 month off birth control I had a period and all of a sudden I didn’t have a period for 3 months. My doctor said I’m not ovulating which is why I’m not getting a period,so my doctor gave my progesterone pills to take for 5 days and then once I get my period in cycle 5 to 9 take the clomid. Well last month I wasn’t able to take the clomid because I didn’t actually get a full on period. I only spotted for 4 day. Has this happen to anyone. This is my second month trying this and I’m trying to conceive.
