I have been having contractions for the past few days all day, but not so painful I need to be seen. Today I went to my doctor and she checked me, my cervix is soft, about 60% effaced and was 1 cm dilated. All day I've been having contractions that are painful, but just figured they're Braxton hicks... now I'm 2 cm dilated and just wondering if anyone has any kind of info on whether or not it's worry-some or not? And if I should prepare to have a very premature baby? Are babies who are born at this likely to survive? Any info is greatly appreciated!
