Hi ladies. I am 5w3d with my third child today. I have had three miscarriages so I am on the edge about every little pain or sign.

I have a pretty bad cold and the coughing is relentless. Today I actually started a little bit of spotting after a "coughing attack". It's totally freaking me out and I'm trying to relax but I just can't get the cough to calm down.

Any words of advice on how to calm this cold and coughing since they say not to take any of the "good meds" in your first trimester?
