open relationship

I'm considering being in an open relationship. im already in a relationship and I love my boyfriend but I've been considering breaking up and I guess I want to see if being in an open relationship well help me figure out if we should just break up or not. how would I go about bringing this up and discussing this with him?

edit: we've talked about threesomes in the past and he brings them up a lot lately until I started getting into it and wanting to do it. does that mean he doesn't love me if he's wants to sleep with many/other women?
