A week after Iud Insertion

Hi ladies I need a little bit of advise from some of you who have IUDs. So I had my first iud inserted a week and two days ago. The first two days my cramps were unbearable but as the week went on they started to become less frequent although they are definitely still there and they still hurt a ton. My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and a half and we both know we have no STIs. We tried to have sex a week after my iud was inserted but for some reason I felt a burning sensation in/around my vagina. When we put a condom on it was a little better (maybe because of the lube even though we never use lube or condoms) but it still was sore/burning. I’ve been a little itchy the past few days and I’m not sure if I have a yeast infection or not? Have others experienced this sensation with the iud? Will it go away?
