I’m so nervous . I went in today for my last prenatal check up as I will be getting induced tomorrow morning at 7 am. We did everything as normal weighed me I lost 3 pounds and baby is doing good. We get to my blood pressure and it is a little high 130/80 which isn’t normal because I never had high blood pressure before. So they do my cervix check and turns out I’m already 3/4 centimeters dilated and 80 effaced and a soft cervix yay but then she says she’s really high which is weird because she’s been really low until this week. So they decided I didn’t need the ballon to help labor. But then I said well my blood pressure was kind of high so they checked it again gave me a few minutes because I was really nervous and then came back re took it . 144/90 it got even higher ! So she said I can’t let you go home but I can let you wait in the waiting room for a hr or you can go wait in the car or go to the hospital where they will monitor your bp for awhile so I chose to just wait the hr and drive around with my husband . Went back and it was still high 138/80. They let me go home as I am being induced tomorrow morning at 7am. I’m so nervous I’ve never ever had high bp before. They said it could just be because my nerves or because baby is coming but still. 😩 I’m a first time mom so yes it scares me a lot. I pray for a healthy delivery and healthy little girl. I’m so excited but so scared all together. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them?
