I'm so confused on what my body is doing!

hi ladies new here! So last month December 7th I had a d&c; due to mmc. since then I've gone into having a normal period on 1-9-18 That ended 1-13-18. Today is CD 14 and I'm supposed be ovulating but the thing is, yesterday for a bit I had some brown bleeding (not heavy at all) that tapered to spotting. Today same thing but just spotting and a little bit of cramping lasted maybe 5 mins and was gone. What can this be? I'm hoping I'm ovulating as we are ttc and I'm scared this going on isn't a good sign to conceive this month. Any suggestions or positive stories appreciated!
