I believe that sexuality and gender no matter what person chooses should be treated with respect. and I have no prejudices against any.... but if I'm being honest I do believe that gender/ sexual preference isn't as complicated as everyone is making it.                              I only truly believed in 3 and they were: 1.lesbian / gay.                                               2. Straight.                                                       3. Bisexual.                                               am I wrong for seeing it this way???

Hi. I describe myself as pansexual. I don't identify with the term bisexual because "bi" = two, and I am not attracted to only two types of people. Whether they have a penis and a beard, or breasts and a vagina, or some combination, doesn't matter to me. If they identify as women, men, enby, bigender, genderfluid, or whatever, doesn't matter to me. Pansexual encompasses that for me in a way that bisexual simply does not.
I identified as straight when I was first going through puberty. A little later, when I was attracted to cis boys and cis girls, I identified as bisexual. Now that I've accepted that I can be attracted to any type of person, my identity is pansexual. It's a real thing.

Bi and pan are very different bc I am Pan and I like boys, girls, non binary, gender fluid, trans people and everything in between and beyond. There is also a difference in romance attraction and sexual attraction. 
For example I am very Demisexual, meaning it takes me a while to feel sexual feelings for them because I need solid romantic attraction before I get any kind of sexual attraction, (I don’t even masturbate). 
Gender is also very different that genitalia. There are gender roles and sexes. Very different. Please do some research. When it all boils down to it it’s about being who you feel comfortable being and enjoying yourself and being kind to others. Respect and Empathy is key. Gender is whatever you make of it and Love is Love no matter if it is platonic or romantic. It’s just a spectrum that society has made. Labels. But it helps us understand and explain.

The three you just stated only include loving your gender, the opposite gender or both. There are many sexualities that include loving no gender sexually, only loving a particular one after a deep bond has been introduced, loving all genders including non-binary individuals and many more. To state that those three sexualities were the only ones would be to state that only female and male exist, which is rediculously untrue
