My friend is interested in doing my hair. She's done ombre for me before so I do trust her. 
Just want to know what you guys think of the look of it

My hair is naturally dark dark brown so I'm not too worried.
This is how my hair looks right now.

Obviously my hair is longer than the girls in the pictures hair. Just curious to how it would look though!

As a stylist... it’s very difficult, timely, and expensive to achieve this look with dark hair. It’s a process to lighten it and most likely(if you have a good and honest stylist) won’t be achieved in one day.

Be prepared to spend a lot of time/money trying to get and maintain that colour (I know from personal experience). For starters, your hair has to be bleached light enough for non-natural colours (grey, pink, blue etc) to take. Secondly, all the non-natural colours fade very fast. I normally have to touch up the colour at home myself once a week.

I love silver hair. Just be prepared to have it take a few months and multiple appointments for your hair to get that light. Attempting to do it in one shot will absolutely fry your hair. I would go for it!

ok..im a hairstylist and i tried to do this look over the summer...i have dark hair like yours...i bleached mine 4 times and it still didnt get light enough to be able to do the Smokey color...now not everyones hair is the same but you will have to lighten yours a few times and even then there is no guarantee

i love it. I've always wanted to do my hair like that, but i think you're going to have to bleach it more than once to get it that color.
