When did y'all decide to try for baby #2

Question

What should I take into consideration before trying for baby #2? I will have 2 under 2 if I were to get pregnant this year.

My oldest was 5 lol! We weren’t sure for a while if we wanted more and we wanted to make sure we were financially stable. Plus I didn’t want to buy double diapers, I enjoyed my sleep, I didn’t want to chase a tot while pregnant, and I liked being able to take her to the movies and stuff I couldn’t do with a baby.  And now that she’s 6 and her sister is 14 months it’s awesome! She helps, she doesn’t get jealous and act out, she’s not bothered when the baby wakes up. She’s in school so I have alone time with the baby too.  I love the age difference but it’s not what everyone wants and I understand that.

My first two are 21 months appart. This was a really good gap I thought. My first had already done her firsts before I had my second. Now they are 6 and 4 and play so well together. Most days I don’t even see them they are off playin all the time. My third is 8 months. This was a very hard so because l have basically started all over with the baby thing. Tryin for number four now 7months. I want #3 to have a play mate.

We stopped using both control when I was about 4 or 5 months post partum. My period didn’t return until I was 9 months post partum. I had two periods and got pregnant. Unfortunately I lost that pregnancy and another 6 weeks later. We then used protection for three months then stoped protection again (doctor’s suggestion) and got pregnant. I’m due at the end of May. They will be barely over 2 years apart. I think any time is fine as long as you and your husband are ok with it!

I was 11 weeks pregnant when my first turned 2. He was very excited about a new baby and to better prepare him for what was to come I bought him a baby doll so we could practice being gentle and how to hold a baby. I truly believe this helped despite the crap I got from family and friends. 
Since baby #2 has been born it's been pretty good for the most part. He loves his little brother and enjoys talking to him and trying to get him to play. There are down sides though, my 2 year old is really struggling with potty training, he gets jealous that I hold the new baby alot (ebf) and we're still working through terrible twos so the fit pitching can be rough with a sleeping baby or even a baby that is upset too. All in all, it's absolutely worth it and it will get easier. Our plan is to have one more in about 3 years. We definitely don't want two children in diapers again and maybe a little more independent but still close in age. Good luck!

My kids are 4 years apart. It was my choice, i wanted my first to be atleast 2 y/o before i started trying cuz i don’t want 2 under 2 lol... my youngest is almost 2 and working on baby #3 now so hopefullu soon 🤞🏻

I'm pregnant with my 4th baby. I start trying when baby turns 1. So my kids are all approximately 2 yrs apart. I like having them close in age, but I have a full year to recover and breastfeed. My 2 oldest are now 5 and 3 and they're inseparable, my youngest is 18 months and definitely taking interest in her brothers :)
