Kyleena??

Hey y’all I’m supposed to be getting the kyleena in a few weeks but haven’t heard of anyone getting this iud. If you have had how do you like it??

I had the Mirena before the Kyleena and let me tell you, the Kyleena was 100 times better! It actually lightened my period which is something I never thought would happen to me! I hope you like yours!

I got mine Jan 29 and have been spotting ever since. Random cramps and I just got my period last week and my period pain was worse then when I didn't have IUD. I also got pain in my leg and pelvic area during period only but went away with pain meds. I see my doctor on Tuesday so I'm def going to bring it up. I really want all of this annoying effects to stop

I got mine at the end of November. Spotted for about 4 weeks (stopped the week before Christmas), but haven’t had any bleeding since!

I unfortunately had a terrible experience.  After 7 weeks , I was having intense panic attacks and crying spells.  I got it taken out, but it took about a month until I felt balanced.  My reproductive endocrinologist told me some women are just really sensitive to hormones and she has seen this reaction to birth control numerous times.  Not trying to discourage you, bc some women love theirs! Just something to keep in mind if you start to see your mood change for no explainable reason.  Knowing it was from the birth control at least gave me some comfort bc there was no explanation!

I have it. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet because I haven’t had it for very long. I cramp and spot some but that’s normal since it’s a foreign object. Every body reacts differently but I’m glad I made this choice
