Hey y’all. So we had abnormal genetic screening which predicted a 35% chance of trisomy 21. We have to wait a few weeks to have the amnio and a few weeks for the results. Does it look like too much fluid?

1. Is this the image the sonography used to measure? I don’t see the nose tip which makes me to think the image was incorrect to do measurement
2. Did you hear or see any of NT measurement saying >2.5mm? Perhaps you can request a report for your own record? 
I’ll be doing this screening in less than 2 weeks as well. I am a sonographer as well. Cardiac not general so I won’t know in detail how things are measured when they do ultrasound, but in my training you need to have good image to start the measurements.

it looks like not a lot of fluid the fliud is the black around the baby. I'm sorry to hear this I hope that all is well

I’m sorry to hear that. This looks like more fluid than I’ve seen on ultrasounds before where the neck is more pronounced leading up to the back of the head. I hope everything turns out well for your bean. God bless
