Too Harsh?

Question

I'm thinking of making something like this and putting it on baby's car seat. I'm due June 25 so flu season won't really be an issue but there's still plenty of things that can get baby sick! Plus I don't need strangers touching my babe! What's your opinion?

I'd just get a cover. A sign isn't going to prevent someone from hacking on the baby. I think these are super cute!

You can if you want or you can just tell people no but ive never had an issue with people wanting to touch or get real close to either of my kids

I had the cover that goes over his car seat when my son was first born, but it’s really light. Now he has a fleece lined winter cover that doesn’t cover him from view, but luckily no one has tried to touch him or get all close. Once a lady tried to peek through the cover so I had to tell her not to touch, she had the nerve to look at me like I was crazy. Meanwhile I was like

But for the most part it hasn’t been an issue.
& if you do get a sign it is NOT too harsh: it’s your baby & your baby’s health. Screw the strangers & what they think!

I have had random people touch my son. I keep telling them no and blocking them but they keep trying. I baby wear and people have tried to touch him when hes all up on my chest.  And as for  our parents they drive me insane getting angry bc I still make them wash their hands before they touch him. They think I’m crazy bc i feel ppl should have clean hands when touching babies.

Luckily, I never had a stranger even try to touch my baby. Once at Target someone told me she looked like a baby doll, but no one attempted to touch her.

I had one that simply said “Please do not touch me”, also from Etsy. I liked that it spared me from having to be rude or awkward with people, I hated telling them to stop when they leaned in and had their hands all over my baby.

I'm planning on putting something like this on our hospital door for any visitors. But I may just remind them he hasn't had a bath since I popped him out of me. 😂😂😂 I wonder if that would be enough deterrent not to put their lips on baby. When i brought that fact up to my mom she laughed her ass off and said eww! 😂 she had never thought if that. The hospital doesn't give baths for up to 24 hours unless requested.
