this is for an assigned debate in my public speaking class. i have to argue the “no” side and i want to hear your different opinions so that i can formulate my argument.

You can start off your  argument  by calling them undocumented  immigrants and not illegal  immigrants.

Yes. And influx of low skilled migration has been proven by the best social science to help rather than hurt the economy in the long run. 
Immigrants are also more likely to be entrepreneurs, creating jobs. 
Meanwhile, we have no idea the effects of deporting a whole generation of migrants. If DACA recipients are deported, we'll be reporting something like 20,000 teachers, 900 active duty military members and an astonishing 241,000 college students. That's so stupid.. that would be such a stupid (cough RACIST) thing to do

No- #1 It is awarding bad behavior. #2 people will continue to disregard our immigration laws and then use the Pathos technique of persuasion because our public falls for it #3 The People who immigrated the right way should get their money back #4 It's the law. We don't have open borders.

DACA cases definitely needed to be granted citizenship. In other cases, if they are lawful citizens, pay taxes which vast majority do, and contribute to the society which again most of them do in great ways then yes! 
Undocumented immigrants are not my problem, the dumb citizens who are destroying our country and our reputation are!!!!

Coming from me, my SO has been fighting for a visa for 10 years and is on the edge of being deported which we will find out on his court date Feb 15th if he will be granted or not, this is so hard for me as I am pregnant with our first baby and he has 2 other kids here in the US I think it’s so unfair that they are trying to take him from us. He is an amazing person, I love him with all my heart and this shit stresses me and makes me feel so lost. Sometimes it’s a good idea but not everyone deserves a chance to be here.. but why the good people. He’s been here since he was 5 he’s 29 now. Ugh sorry I just fml rite now! Everything was going so perfect. And this just randomly happen his court date wasn’t until 2019 and now they’re tryna have him in by February 🤦🏻‍♀️😩😭😭 but like I said not everyone deserves being here!
