Should i get separated from my bf?

Well its been 2.5 months that im in a relationship and i truly in love with him at first i wasnt sure but he showed some perfect things that i really dont want to loose him of course everyone has some ups and downs in their relations but beside that everything is super

But my bf has applied for an american university and i will go to poland for my masters ... i should go to poland cause my grandma was polish so its better for me to study there and i cant apply for america anymore and he is kinda nerd so he wanted to go to top ranked universities and for sure he will get the acceptance of university he has applied for and i know i will miss him too much and i dont know how long we will stay apart so im scared of breaking up but do you think we should break up sooner so i will not get too spiritually dependent to him or i should keep going on ?
