IUD I love it

So I complained about getting my IUD the other day ( I was in a lot of pain for like two days while my body was getting used to it). But I actually really feel like it is the best decision I ever made for myself. I feel like I have read so my negative things about it on here. But I don’t think that is fair. There are so many benefits. One I don’t have to worry about taking a birth control pill anymore ( I took the birth control pill for a year and sometimes I would forget to take them and then I would have to double up, so now I don’t have to worry about taking the pill or forgetting about it). My periods ( okay I got my period yesterday and it only lasted one day, which was great) are much lighter. I won’t have to worry about having kids for 4 up to four years. (And I am 22 and not ready for kids for a long time.) It just over all really great for me. Oh and I’m saving money because my birth control was $15 a month. All of these negative things about the IUD make me sad. I really think it was a good decision and sense I see so many negative things on here about it, I wanted to share a positive one. I would really recommend it. But with all this said it hurts like a lot when you first get it ( at least for me it did) . But the pain only lasted two days. Totally worth it. Again I just wanted to share a really positive outlook on the IUD.
