Has anyone had a Laparoscopy? And what should I expect?

I’ve had two, a few years ago now but it’s a quick surgery and not much pain, I was left with two tiny scars, one on my pelvic bone and one on my belly button. The only real issue was sore shoulders, they put gas inside to lift up your organs so they can see a bit better, there’s always a small amount of gas left and when you sit up the gas travels upwards to your shoulders, not much room up there so lie flat as much as you can afterwards. i had one two months ago. not only laparoscopy but also hystroacopy and D&C; too. i had pains for like 1 week not too bad but had bad pains in my shoulder due to the gas that they put in ur tummy to do the procedure.
