I am 17 weeks today and had one ultrasound when I was 7 weeks 2 days. My baby was measuring behind 1 week and 4 days based on my conception date. Based on conception, I should be 18 weeks 4 days.

I thought I was going crazy because I felt movements in my upper stomach (3 inches about belly button) so I decided to use my Fetal Doppler which I can never find the baby’s heartbeat on, only the placenta and a slow heartbeat. Tonight while listening, the sound in my upper stomach was so loud that it hurt my ears through my earphones and it corresponded to a movement I felt at the same time. On a few occasions I have picked up a heart beat in the same upper portion of my stomach but then it will fade away. How is is possible for me to not only feel movement but pick up loud sounds in my upper stomach if I’m only between 17-18 weeks? Has anyone ever experienced this?
