As someone who works in research I'll tell you that the best birth controls are the ones that have been prescribed the longest with no long term effects or "recalls." I was sexually active and took the pill for 14 years with no accidental pregnancies or effects. It also kept my face clear and my periods light. I would stay away from implants since they are still pretty new with no long term research. Depo shot has been around a while so that's probably safe.

had the evra patch for more than 10years. loved it, never got pregnant and only had to change it once a week. no need to worry if u are sick and throw up.
