Certain foods to avoid when breastfeeding??

So I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant and plan on breastfeeding once my lil one is here. No one has ever told me that I should avoid certain foods while doing this since it won’t be good for my baby. I’ve never even heard of this as a FTM. What should I avoid once babygirl is here? 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

It all depends on your LO but spicy foods, dairy and some veggies can upset your LO. Have the mentality of whatever you eat, they eat.

Thankfully I didn’t have to avoid any foods but every baby is different !

Ehh I avoid spicy food only because I don’t like it! Just drink lots of water and have a balanced diet. Nice balance of protein, veggies, fruit, carbs and good fats. Treating yourself here and there is totally fine btw :) Besides having a balanced diet, you only need to make diet changes like cutting out dairy IF your baby seems to be having a problem with something in your milk.
