When is a good time to have a 3rd baby?!

I have a 20 month old and a 5 week old, for all you mommies out there... from experience when is the best time for you and your children to go for the third?

Personally I have a 20 month gap, a 32 month gap, and this one will be a 28 month gap (four kids total - they’re 6 1/2, about to turn 5, 2 and last one is due next month). I’ve liked the spacing we have. The first spacing was the most difficult so far because they were both still so dependent and needy those first few months. I liked the 32 month spacing of my last two because my son was already pretty independent and he still bonded really well with his baby sister.

My daughter is five my son is almost 2 and my third will be born in eight weeks. I'm overwhelmed at the thought honestly wish I would've waited until my son was older.

Whenever you feel ready. The gap between your first two wouldn’t have my ideal gap. My first two are 2y8m apart and from the second to third will be almost 3 years apart and I still don’t know if it’s long enough. Some people can handle multiples close together, some can’t. If you like the gap you have now then you can always repeat it.

Mine are all pretty spaced out; I like having the one on one time with each baby. My oldest is 8, and second will be 5 when my third arrives this fall.  Everyone is different tho.
