Did anyone get prescribed citalopram and alprazolam?

How did it make you feel? I am scared of taking alprazolam in the future...I got it prescribed. I read all the side effects and things it can do to your body. I'm being paranoid but can someone ease my mind about it ?

citalopram is Celexa. it's an antidepressant. alprazolam is Xanax. it's an antianxiety and addictive. two very different things.

I have taken citalopram for years. I like it bc it helps me without making me feel like I’m drugged out. I have really bad depression and anxiety and it’s helped me very much. I haven’t experienced any of the potential side effects that can come up from taking it. Its been a positive experience for me. Good luck!! 🍀

I took citalopram. Didn't do much for me, also not really regarding to side effects. For the other one I don't know but I do know that meds work different for everyone, including the side effects and it also depends on what other medicine you take. Some people get a lot, some people almost nothing and some people only a few. For some it stays as long as they take it, for others only a few weeks. If your doctor prescribes you these medicine you can try it. Just keep regular appointments with your doctor to keep an eye on it. And always know that you decide what gets in your body. If you don't like it, doesn't work as you want or whatever you can discuss it with yuour doctor and find you something else.

I have never had alpraz but citopram is amazing. I researched the crap out of it before taking it as I have suffered from anxiety and depression but refused to go on medication. Well I wish I had earlier because I feel so much lighter and definitely less anxious. I feel like a better version of myself. I didn't even get much side effects either. I felt a bit nauseas on and off. But other then that, I felt fine!  Highly recommend it. Try not to over think it.
