does anyone know what a pelvic ultrasound is

I'm just a little worried for Tuesday the midwife is wanting to know is going on at the bottom of my stomach to see if it is abnormal or not plus she thinks it's a small cyst on my left ovary.

A pelvic ultrasound is just what they are looking at.  They will look at both ovarian and uterus.  This can be done either transvaginal or transabdominal depending on how it is ordered

well I got a pregnancy test and it was negative but my midwife said she wanted to see if the test would be negative don't know why she would say that.

Cysts are no big deal and most of the time go away on their own
