I say don't do it for anyone except for yourself. I just trim it sometimes bc I can't handle the razor bumps and carpet burn feeling during sex. Hair is down there to protect you and if he can't accept that than tell him bye. My partner actually prefers hair down there. Just ask who you're with what they like if you're unsure
