how far along for first doctors visit?

long story short battling with insurance company has left me 8wk3d and still havent seen a doctor (doesnt look like i will for at least 1 more week) is that okay? anyone else have their initial visit this far along or later? this is my first time so I dont know whats normal. also ive been taking prenatal vitamins since i found out i was pregnant (jan 2nd)

I had my first ultrasound at 19weeks, only blood tests before that to confirm blood type and the pregnancy.

My doctor wouldn't even see me until 8 weeks. Some won't see you until 10-12 weeks.

That's normal. Unless you have funky periods and have zero idea how far along you are, they usually leave you until somewhere between 10-12 weeks before your first visit.

I was actually 12wks 3 days by the time I had my first appointment. But I thought I was only 8+3
From what I've seen most won't see you till at least 6-8 weeks anyway because other than blood confirmation and showing that the sac is in the right place there's not much that can be done until then

My first appt is 10 weeks. Some places won't see you until 12. You are fine.
