We’ve been saving forever. My husband was in the military and is approved for a VA loan (lower interest rates, smaller down payment). The VA has higher standards for the home inspection so when we make offers on houses, the sellers keep rejecting us because they don’t want to do the extra inspection work. I’m just starting the third trimester, having horrible sciatica, and don’t know how much longer I can deal with not having a nursery ready for my baby. It’s so upsetting because we have great credit and are pre-approved but keep getting turned away.
