Dopamine floods the brain in the first 12 months of any new relationship, this includes friendships. This chemical makes love feel real. It very well could be, but it’s only after the dopamine wears off that we really know. That being said, my fiancé told me he loved me around the 6 month mark and of course I said it back. I had felt it for awhile but I was newly separated from my husband ( 8 weeks before I met my fiancé) and I didn’t dare say it yet lol everyone is different but I say give it some time before saying it vecaise it can really hurt if someone says it and doesnt really mean it
