What does it mean when a guy...

I started romantically seeing a guy I “friend-zoned” for over four years. Every time we hang out, he’ll say something like “you’re amazing. You’re so amazing.” What am I doing that’s so amazing... I asked him that and he’s like “you’re just amazing.” ??? I don’t know how to react to this as I’m not great with my feelings/compliments. I usually just say “that’s you 😉” but I feel as I’ve said that so many times it’s wearing out.
