I'm half half because only some friends know but my family and other friends don't know

Somewhere in the middle. In my everyday life, I'm out and proud. I was "undercover" for a long time in a straight relationship, but I have a trans girlfriend now and totally cool telling people about it. My parents know I'm dating her, though they heavily disapprove.
Everywhere else, I keep it in the closet. Extended family don't and won't know unless it becomes Realistically Serious. Church communities also don't hear about it. I just play it down when I don't feel comfortable, and let it spill when I do. It's a tightrope I've learned to walk, because it makes more sense for me in my life than an all-or-nothing approach.

I might say that I'm still in the closet, but my family knows. The only ones who don't know are my father and one of my brothers. I can't be open because it's illegal here, whoops. If I act as myself, I will be imprisoned, or even kicked out the country. I will be out and proud once I move out to Canada though! My mother knows about me, and she's against it completely. She knows that I'm not straight and she knows that I'm trans. She wanted to take me to conversion therapy, and I said no a million times. Luckily I've realized that she doesn't mention it a lot, mostly because she believes it's a phase. She found out about me 3 years ago. I'm still here to say that it is not a phase, and I'm planning on transitioning, and also planning on marrying my girlfriend.
