Is true love unconditional?

Question

This has been on my mind lately...what do you think? Is true love unconditional? Is unconditional love reckless or negligent? Can true love come with strings attached? If one is required to meet some condition in order to be loved, is that love real or meaningful in any way? 
I have no answers just questions lol what are your thoughts?

love isn't unconditional. not between a man and a woman. I love my husband very much and I'd do anything for him but if he hurts my feeling or my body on purpose, that's the line for me. I have conditions. you respect my family and my friends, whether you like them or not.
love between a parent and a child is more like true love. it's beautiful and unbreakable. there are no bounds, and sometimes that can be hurtful when your child says they hate you but they dont.
it's all about the kind of love

I think the only unconditional love would be between a parent and a child. Between 2 adults, love is limited. For example, I was deeply in love with my ex, but he developed a drug problem that he wasn’t willing to deal with professionally. I couldn’t stand by and watch him waste his money and his potential to a white powder. It’s been 3 years and has a baby with someone else- his addiction is worse than ever. I loved him with every fibre of my being but limited to unhealthy, dangerous or abusive behaviour

The best way to put it, I love my husband all of the time, I like him sometimes and I hate him rarely. It’s unconditional in the sense that I will always love him even after a fight.
